You see, an alarm clock, such an easy suggestion.
Get them to set alarm everytime when they have a task to do, easy right?
But wait, what if they procrastinated to set the alarm?
Just get a second alarm to remind them to set the alarm! Easy! *insert LOL emoji*
As much as they like to procrastinate, I believe they still deserve some gifts from you as their friend to give them a push on dealing (or enjoy) with procrastination.
Post-It Notes (Sticky notes)
Something to keep self from forgetting a task, remind one self to do something. You get the reminder everywhere, I mean it, everywhere, from desk to wall of your toilet 😀
When your friend complaining that he keeps forgetting to do something, or reluctant to do something at first turns to forgetting all together, it’s time for a good old fashion reminder!
A small and square shaped notepad where every page can be torn off, they are sticky at the end on one side, and you are free to stick them anywhere! Ok, just kidding, you know what a sticky note/ post-it note is.
While it is convenient to keep notes in electronics nowadays, how often does the electronics notes successfully remind you of something? They don’t! Until you go and check them, which you won’t if you prone to procrastinate.
Yes I know, you can set reminder on the notes taken on your devices, but I bet you would procrastinate to set a reminder right? (gotcha!)
Having a note in places where you do not expect them can really get your attention, which hopefully got you into thinking there are still works to be done!
See where I am going with this? Fine, I might over glorified the power of post-it notes… But your stacks of post-it notes should make your friends feel like you have their back for dealing with procrastination 🙂
(Or they might think you are hinting them they need helps with memories, pick this at your own risk :p)

White Board
Works just like post-it note, a reminder system, just BIGGER.
Post-it notes is too small to your liking? Too small it can’t be seen? You want something big enough you would look at it every time you pass by?
Give white board a try! Be it you drill it in your wall or hang on a nail, just make a white area that cannot escape your eyes everytime you walk by, and write whatever on it that you want to remind yourself.
Of course with that you would need white board marker pen and a white board eraser.
Be creative, use even magnet to decorate and organize your board, as long as it can function as reminder, urge you to work on task, stop you from procrastinating.

The Freaking Tomato Timer
Instead of procrastinate, learn how to focus maybe?
Do you know the famous tomato system? The one that asks you to perform a task for 25 minutes and rest for 5 minutes?
Do you know that is based on a real life timer? A tomato shaped timer!
Get this as a gift, the Tomato timer (pomodoro timer), literally the physical timer. Practical for tomato clock system to get any task done, set 25 minutes so that you can concentrate on performing the said task. Increasing the high performing working period, and slowly reducing the not-so-performing period during intended work hour.
This should somehow encourage more efficient working behaviour, and slowly reduce procrastinate frequency. (hopefully :p)
Nevertheless, it is a cool little kitchen timer, small, bright red. Just in case your friend gave up on using the timer for work, it can still use it in the kitchen, or a decoration on working desk (collect dust).
You can get the pomodoro timer >>here<<
While we are on this timer thing, there is a type of clock suitable for procrastinators.
Taa-Daa!
Although the clock face looks fun, but it does function like a normal clock (means the hands move normally, just looks… well… funny)

Adopt a Rabbit (Reminder: Having a rabbit is a SERIOUS responsibility, should not be taken lightly.)
The responsibility of taking care a rabbit.
You simply cannot procrastinate to feed, to play, to hug, to …, they will look for you, and hunt you down until you satisfy them.
If you wake up late to feed them, they will jump on your bed to get you awake, to feed them.
Start bitting your wires behind the television when they feel bored, because you don’t feel like play with them or feeling lazy to play with them.
All this sounds like rabbit is a bad companion, but they are so cute you are just gonna let all those pass by.
Taking care a rabbit is like taking care a baby, one will learn to take responsibility and no chance at all to procrastinate!
HOWEVER, gifting a pet rabbit to someone is always a bad idea, it might end up in releasing rabbit into the wild or left them at animal shelther. This should never be an option unless you know the person has enough knowledge to take care of a rabbit. (Or substitute with other pets like dogs and cats.)
Refer to some of the books here for proper pet rabbit knowledge.
