Today, I want to talk about things you can get from our lovely dolar (well, practically is RM5++) shop Daiso, which you can make into a unique, custom gift.

Polymer clay/ Resin clay?
This is the polymer clay we all love and hate.
Those who know how to handle it will love it, but those who don’t, hate it.
You can literally make anything out of it, provided you have all the colour you want.
Knead it into any shape and size, make it into a small piece of art, sounds like a great gift idea to me!
What can you do with it?
Personally I have made many little rabbit clay figures just for fun. But when I think of it, they are just as suitable as a necklace pendant.
Or clay charm, as many refer to it.
If your friend has something they like, let say, cat? dog? rabbit? Or perhaps something can be recreated in clay figures, why not make one for them?
It is unique and handmade by you, it sure gonna make them happy!
Things to watch out
“Polymer clay? So we need an oven for that?” You may ask.
Well, fret not.
This polymer clay from Daiso actually dries on air! You read this right, air-dry polymer clay.
It is not the light and flaky softclay type you can also found in Daiso.
Not the paperclay you might be thinking right now.
It kneads well, not crumbling during the kneading, there is no need to add water during the creation. (lol)
But do keep in mind that the clay surface tends to dry quickly after expose to air.
So keep the rest in packaging while you work with the portion you need.
A airtight plastic resealer would be handy at this time.
Oh, to make it attractive, you might want to coat a glaze on it.

You can make literally anything (miniature) as a gift!
Imagine your friend who loves rabbit, you want to get him or her a gift.
And BAM!!
You make a mini rabbit figure with polymer clay, a unique decorative piece that cannot be bought from anywhere else.
